Hey y’all! I’m so glad you came. As I wrote in my intro, I’ve been sitting with this blog since 2020. It started out with a different name, “Adventurous Living.” It never got off the ground. I clearly wasn’t living adventurously. Well, I was but I didn’t want to share my journey. So, here we are, four years later, with a new name but the same purpose.

Let’s get into the name. I’m your holy homegirl because I’ve always been the friend you can hang out and kick it with, and be your authentic self but I’ve always been ready to offer encouragement to my friends with the Word of God. By no means does the name suggest that I am “holier than thou” only that I am striving to live a holy life because God is holy and He has called me to holiness. I want to live my life so that others’ joy can increase after having an experience with me. I aim to shine my light so that all men will see my good works and glorify my Father in heaven.

God has been so good to me and I will share more as time progresses. Just know that He has done and is doing new things in my life and I am privileged and honored to be a part of His plan.
